The friends of Bethany provide support in many ways. Whether in the form of assistance with spring cleaning, preparing a meal for residents or memorializing a loved one, all gifts to Bethany are needed and appreciated.

Bethany couldn’t function without the help of its supporters and would not be the same caring environment without them. The residents know there’s a community supporting them and preparing them for the future when they leave Bethany Apartments.

Volunteering

Listed below are some of the many ways to volunteer at Bethany Apartments. We’re listing some of them, but the list changes with the seasons and as Bethany’s population changes. Some service organizations, schools and employers have made it a tradition to come to Bethany at certain times of the year to provide help with the building. • Mentoring
• Tutoring
• Painting
• Repairing
• Cleaning

You may also consider bringing a group from your club or place of employment to do a large group project such as painting, landscaping, cleaning the building, etc.

Donations

• Gently used children’s clothing
• Items for the food pantry
• Household items (cookware, dishes, utensils, etc.) for setting up apartments
• Small appliances (toasters, microwaves, toaster ovens)
